Hi Jordan — cash is tight this quarter. Can we split this into two payments, half now and half in 30 days?

Re: Reminder · INV-1039Hi Priya, absolutely — I can set up two payments of $4,466, which covers the invoice plus the applied late fee: the first this week and the second on the 30th. I'll send a payment link for the first half now. Does that work? — Jordan

Friendly reminder: invoice INV-1049Hi Maya, hope the packaging run is going well! INV-1049 for $7,859.68 is coming due — could you confirm the payment timing? Happy to sort a plan if that's easier. Thanks so much, Jordan

Stop emailing me about this. I'm disputing the whole engagement and my lawyer will be in touch.

What the agent did next

Nothing. The ladder paused on this thread, no chase was written, and no follow up is scheduled. It is on your desk with the reply that put it there attached.

It works overnight. You approve in the morning.

The loop

The agent runs against your own accounts while you sleep and hands you a queue in the morning. Nothing in that queue has left the building, every line of it is reversible, and every gate it passes fails closed.

01

Overnight, on your own accounts

The agent works last night's overdue list out of the books you already keep — QuickBooks, Xero and Stripe — and out of your own Outlook mailbox. No export, no second system of record, no new place to bill from.

Reads your ledger and your inbox directly. Your clients keep dealing with your address.

02

A morning queue, not a morning inbox

What lands is a queue of prepared actions, each with the reply it answers and the reason it was drafted. Approve it, edit the wording, or kill it outright.

Copilot is the default chasing mode and never auto-sends: every scheduled chase waits in Needs you until a human taps it.

03

A receipt on every action, and a window to take it back

Every classify, draft, hold, send, reply and payment is written to the activity ledger with the evidence it acted on. Approved sends stage before they go, so you get a beat to change your mind.

30-second undo window on an approved chase — the dispatcher only picks up a queued send once the window has elapsed, and undo flips it to cancelled atomically.

04

Gates fail closed

When a check does not pass, the agent stops and hands the thread to you. It never proceeds on a maybe, and there is no flag anywhere that makes it proceed anyway.

A draft that names money it was not handed is rejected outright. A thread past 5 agent messages routes to a human. Past 200 inference calls in a day the loop stops calling the model. A client who opted out is never chased again.

There is no --force, no allowlist and no known-issues file. A gate that can be waived is a gate that gets waived, so none of these can be.

One flat price. No surprises.

FAQ

Learn how FetchDue works, what it connects to, how actions are handled, and what teams can expect day to day.

What does FetchDue do for an agency?

FetchDue chases your overdue invoices for you. It works today's overdue list from your own mailbox, reads what each client replies, drafts the answer — a nudge, a due date, a payment plan — and follows up until the money lands. You just approve.

Can FetchDue send from my own email address?

Yes — that's the whole point. Connect your Outlook / Microsoft 365 mailbox and every chase goes out from your own address, in your voice. Replies land in your inbox and every send sits in your Sent folder.

Will FetchDue email my clients without me seeing it first?

No. Nothing reaches a client without your tap. Every chase is drafted for you to approve, edit, or regenerate before it goes out — you keep the final say on every message.

What happens when a client asks to split the payment?

FetchDue recognizes the ask, drafts an installment plan with real dates for you to approve, and then tracks each promised payment — following up automatically if one slips.

Is FetchDue really built just for agencies?

Yes. Agencies live inside a specific squeeze: clients stretch to net-90 while freelancer-payment laws make you pay out in 30. FetchDue is built around retainers, net-90 procurement, and that 30-day gap — and for the bookkeepers who run collections across many agency clients from one console.

How is FetchDue different from Chaser or Paidnice?

Chaser ($259+/mo) and Paidnice ($69/mo) are rules engines — they fire reminders on a timer, and you still read every reply and do the actual chasing. FetchDue is the agent that does the chasing: it reads the reply, works out the plan, drafts the answer in your voice, and follows up until it's paid — for $9/mo.

What does the agent actually write?

Every chase is drafted in your voice — from the first nudge to the firm follow-up. It reads the thread, knows the invoice, and writes the email you would have written. You approve, edit, or regenerate before anything sends.

How does it know what a client's reply means?

It classifies every reply — a promise to pay, a question, a dispute, a “can we split this?” — and drafts the right answer for each, instead of blasting the same reminder again.

Can it negotiate a payment plan by itself?

It drafts the installment plan — amounts and dates — the moment a client asks to split. Nothing is agreed until you approve the send. Then it tracks each promised payment and follows up if one slips.

Will it match my tone?

Yes. Chases go out from your own mailbox and are written to sound like you — warm on the first nudge, firmer as an invoice ages, never rude.

What about late fees?

You set the policy; the agent applies it and clamps every fee to your state's statutory ceiling — firm, always legal.

What happens when a promise slips?

The agent notices the missed date, follows up on its own, and keeps the thread moving until the money lands — you only step in to approve.

Which invoicing tools does FetchDue sync with?

QuickBooks, Xero, and Stripe — invoices, contacts, and payments stay in sync, and what the agent collects is written back to your books.

How does sending from my own mailbox work?

Connect Microsoft 365 / Outlook and every chase is sent as you: it lands from your address, sits in your Sent folder, and replies come back to your inbox.

Can clients pay straight from the chase?

Yes — Stripe payment links ride along with the email, so a client can pay the moment they open it.

Do you support HubSpot?

Yes — connect HubSpot to keep client records in sync alongside your invoices.

Who can see my invoice data?

Your workspace is yours. FetchDue asks only for the scopes it needs — read-only where possible — and every connection can be revoked with one click.

What happens if I disconnect a tool?

Tokens are revoked immediately and syncing stops. Your invoices and threads stay in your account until you delete them.

WHEN THE AGENT CHANGES

The overnight pass reads the mailbox, drafts each answer and holds it for approval. The rails the agent will not cross and the length of the undo window both change as it is worked on. Leave an address and FetchDue writes when one of them does.
